Experience
Since 2011 I’ve been working as a language instructor in Copenhagen, Denmark, teaching mostly one-on-one classes, but also small groups of up to six people.
A vast majority of my student have been foreign professionals who - for work or private reasons - decided to live in Denmark.
I’ve had the privilege to teach people from more than 50 countries, which is a blessing for someone like me, who loves to learn about different ways of living.

Education
Ever since I was a child, languages have been very dear to me. My love for languages made me study to become a translator. I have a Master’s degree in translation from Copenhagen Business School.
What I learned during my degree was very valuable to me and I definitely got deep insights into linguistics, but I soon realized that my real passion doesn't lie in translating texts, but rather in helping other people have a fun and successful language learning journey.
Devotion
I’ve often been told by students that they love my enthusiastic way of teaching.
I adore keeping a smiling and dynamic energy during the lessons, which often makes me forget that I am actually "working".
For me, no two people are the same. I'll meet you as the individual you are and do my best to accommodate your unique needs.
Methodology
No matter if you're a total beginner or an experienced speaker of one of "Mic's Languages", I'll make you speak the language from the very first moment.
For this purpose, I have several approaches to making communication between us flow in a natural way.
Of course I will correct you along the way (always focusing on pronunciation) and make sure you gain ever-growing skills in vocabulary, grammar and fluency.
Language Lover
I started on my language journey already as a child, living around half of my childhood in Denmark and the other half in Germany.
The languages I had in school also taught me quite a bit, especially the in-depth study of Latin (7 years).
My own language learning as well as my teaching has made me somewhat of an expert on the topic of language acquisition.
